Mac, never any need to spend money nowadays. Here's a link to freeware which will convert rm to many other file types.

just drag the conversion from the folder on the interface or first select another source folder. It will even let you edit from it. You get the basic version free and it offers to sell you the upgrade every time you use it. Just a click to refuse. I've found it great to have.

Every now and then somebody comes to say "RS sucks" and uploads files with 'upload', 'netload', 'megaload', ...'shitload'..etc.. As a result when you try to download their files, in the best case it takes years, and in the worst you get stuck .
We have to be realistic : 'there is no free lunch' : we will never have a perfect tool (fast, large, long lasting, etc..) without a fee for membership. So the best and only solution is that almost everybody use the same dowloader.
I know and I fully agree that everybody is free to prefer X to Y, Apple to Microsoft, XYZshare to Rapidshare. But if our goal is to SHARE, we have obviously to have a minimum number of things in common !!!
Not everybody but most of us can afford to pay for 1 membership (RS or any other) but nobody can afford to pay for 4 or 5 or even more !!!

There are many many (too many) very interesting movies that a majority of people have not been able to dowload because they were uploaded with exotic software.

So I would like to make a request to all members : please, try to stick to the most largely used software i.e. Rapidshare.
I have no interest in this RS company, I have just an interest in sharing movies with the maximum number of people and I believe that it is also the interest of a maximum number of people.

JMAN, Speaking for myself, I use Rapidshare simply because I joined it and uploaded with a free account. That gave me points every time people downloaded my files. Reaching 10,000 points (quite quickly) I got free Premium membership for one month and was able to access multi-downloads, no time limit, etc. After that, I just kept going with it. I hope that explains why some people stick with Rapidshare.

Rapidshare is better considering the premium can be used for more than just adult content.

Also, I'm planning to upload all the wabi-sabi-moe content, because that site is the biggest ripoff on the internet. I'm uploading it to rapidshare right now, but I'm unsure of how to post the links, do I just do it here?

I am writing to ask why everyone uses rapidshare and not other sites like mediafire. The thing that most bothers me about rapidshare is the time limit constraint they put on free users. I do not belong because I would rather not use my credit card online for adult content. Mediafire does not require a membership for multiple downloads. Don't get me wrong. I love all that people are uploading but I wish there was some way to get rapidshare memberships with money orders...
